We are currently seeking to bolster our Finance Team with a skilled and talented Financial Controller who can expertly manage and elevate our financial operations. About the Role - Let Your Vision Drive Technical Excellence:

As our Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our position as a reliable, innovative, and competitive partner in the CPG industry. You will report directly to the CFO and be part of a small, multi-functional finance team with broad expertise and responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


Financial Administration Control

  • Oversee monthly close and consolidated reporting within 10 working days.
  • Manage expenses, pay-rolling, invoicing, bi-weekly payments, filing, and maintaining up-to-date financial information.
  • Ensure smooth and flawless overall finance administration.

Management Reporting

  • Prepare structured and ad-hoc management reports.
  • Track liquidity and ensure timely and accurate tax declarations.

Accounting Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the accounting of all Visualfabriq entities.
  • Analyse financial administration outputs and resolve differences in balance accounts as preparation for the Annual Report.
  • Ensure timely financial reporting and analyse results.

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Conduct yearly budgeting and forecasting.
  • Collate and input all relevant payroll information monthly (new starters, leavers, tax forms, benefits, contract changes, sickness, absence, and maternity/paternity pay).

Payroll Administration

  • Ensure all HRIS change requests are captured in payroll.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of finance experience.
  • General understanding of the finance context, including confidentiality, legal framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel.
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team player.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.


Your Technical Toolbox - What You Bring:

  • Specialization in Finance, Reporting, Payroll Administration.
  • Experience with monthly closing, annual accounts, payrolling, invoicing, and accounting processes.
