About the Role - Let Your Vision Drive Technical Excellence:

As our Business Development Representative, you will be instrumental in upholding our reputation as a trusted, innovative, and competitive leader in the CPG industry. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be a vital member of our Sales & Marketing Team, driving our mission forward and ensuring our continued success.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Finding and Creating Business Opportunities: Research and open new accounts through introduction meetings.
  • Lead Generation and Qualification: Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns and qualify them as sales opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a robust all-bound strategy, leveraging cold calls, emails, and social media to prospect into strategic business accounts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives, Pre-sales, and Marketing to ensure seamless lead progression.
  • CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date prospect information in Salesforce.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about market changes, new products and services, and pricing/payment plan updates.
  • Sales Growth: Drive sales growth by setting up qualified meetings for Account Executives and ensuring proper after-sales service.
  • Creative Targeting: Produce creative strategies to target decision-makers and influence company revenue.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a Business Development Representative or Trade Promo/Marketing role within a CPG.
  • Familiarity with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls.
  • Excellent communication and objection handling skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Nice to have: Track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Experience with Salesforce, databases, spreadsheets, and chart analysis.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Experience in FMCG is preferred.
